Zephyr Chisom Carter

Founder Zephyr Chisom Carter was born November 14, 1891, in E Paso, Texas, in Chamezal Region now deeded to Mexico.
After finishing high school in El Paso, Texas, founder Carter entered Howard University.
She took part in many extra curricular activities .
She began her teaching career in San Antonio, Texas, in 1913. Soror Carter moved to California and began singing with a chorus. They usually sang background music for movies. She attended business college at night and worked as a security officer for the Department of Employment for the State of California.
Founder Zephyr Chisom Carter married and had children.
She died on September 8,1976.
